Get the scissors and white paper and let's make snowflakes.
I remember making these when I was young. We taped them all over.
Hang them up with string. Have fun decorating with snowflakes.
This might be my favorite project. I hope you are enjoying the crafts!
Christmas needs candles.
Candles create a cozy atmosphere.
These candle holders would be a great gift for grandparents.
The homemade clay works well. You will want to allow time for the clay to dry properly.
I had a few pieces that were too thick. (1/4 inch is good)
I put them in the oven at a very low temperature and let them dry.
It was easy to finish up with paint.
We made a clay snowman. Try a painted snowman in this lesson. This is so easy!
You can make anything with simple shapes. I hope you are enjoying the lessons.
Building drawing skills is important to creating! I love the snowman painting!
Are you ready to create with clay?
Make a homemade clay or use a store bought clay to complete this project.
You are using circles again to create the snowman.
Let the clay dry and then paint!
It is so easy!

We are making clay ornaments this week.
This recipe makes a dough that is easy to use.
I like making things from clay.
(You could also use a store bought air dry clay.)
Coloring the dough with food coloring works well.
We are going to use paint.
3 - 4 cups of flour (I reserve the last cup for the very end.)
1/2 cup salt
2 T Cream of Tartar
2 T oil
1 1/2 cups boiling water
This doodle is perfect for gift tags, wrapping paper, and cards. Use markers to make the perfect wreath.
It is time to use a different shape.
Triangles work perfectly as Christmas trees.
Give this project a try!
