Drawing a house that has height, width, and depth makes it look 3D.
Here is a simple way to introduce perspective drawing. This house is drawn with a square and a triangle...add a few more straight lines and a 3D house appears. Use this exercise to understand the concept of perspective. All you need is a marker, paper, and crayons to draw and color. Don't forget to allow mistakes and creativity. Doodling is thinking on paper. If you make a mistake turn it into something else. Use lots of colors. Add all kinds of details! Have you ever seen a polka dotted house? Doodling is the perfect time to test those creative ideas. Have fun and doodle on! Ms. Jen
